Hi-Tech Polymers offers a range of Moulded and Machined Products in Rulon. Rulon is a specially compounded form of TFE fluorocarbon and other inert ingredients. Properties: low coefficient of friction; excellent abrasion resistance; low temperatures up to -175ºC where oils are useless; high temperatures up to 240ºC; lubricated applications where wear may occur during starting and stopping; oscillating bearings or any case where stick-slip is undesirable; and where bearing lubrication is undesirable or impossible. Applications: it has a great number of applications, major being used as bearing material. The raw material for these products is obtained from best available sources and processing done according to international standards. All the products are finally, stressed relived to obtain components of high dimensional stability. The quality of these products is monitored right from receipt of raw material to finished products and the concept of total quality management is adopted. Obviously, products have a very long field life and optimum services are guaranteed.
