Maxel Starters offers Motor Starter, MXMA. This is a direct-on-line oil immersed motor starter. It ranges from 3 HP to 20 HP. Operation: to start the motor press green push button, provided on the front cover of enclosure and to stop press red push button. The starter is housed in a cast alloy and deep drawn sheet steel body and comprising of a contactor and magnetic overload relay. Contact is made of electrolytic copper and moving contact is of reversible type and can be used from both sides. Features: cast iron housing and CR sheet steel oil tanks pre-treated and elegantly powder coated; silver coated electrolytic copper contacts for high conductivity and life operation; making and breaking of contacts under oil for quick quenching of arc; individually, tested magnetic overload relays for total protection of motors; and tested as per IS: 13947 part 4 sec 1.
