Prayaas Automation offers low voltage operated Motor Control Centres (MCC). The MCC panel is made of 2 mm thick CRCA sheet steel and floor mounted type. Paint shade: Ral 7032 (inside and outside) base plate – light orange; all MCCs are in single/double front construction having a depth of 550 mm and 750 mm respectively; height of the MCC is 2375 mm, width of the panel is generally 4-5 metres. Although width of the panel depends on number of motor feeders, the MCC panel is equipped with drawout and non-drawout type feeders, and provided with incoming feeder with suitably rated ACB/MCCB and different types of DOL, RDOL and Star/Delta feeders in outgoing section. The operational height is 1800 mm, and the size of each feeder is generally 300 mm (H) x 550 mm (W) for DOL/RDOL feeders. However this dimension depends on rating of motor feeders. All drawout MCC modules are provided with automatic safety shutters as a standard, necessary bus alley and cable alley have been provided for busbar accessing in vertical dropper and cable interconnection for power and control. All feeders are provided with suitable door knobs for proper locking; short circuit level of MCC has been tested on 35/50 kA for 1 sec., MCC panel is provided with internal metallic and insulated barriers to create distinct compartment for busbars, feeders and cabling.
