Fuji Electric India offers an environmentally-friendly range of Switchgear and Controlgear with Type II and Type III environmental label certification. The switchgear and controlgear that operate at Type II environments consider the affect on the environment by all processes. It is based on the "3R" initiative (reduce, reuse, and recycle). Type III environmental label certified motor control centres quantitatively calculate the environmental impact at each stage in the life cycle of a product and then disclose the LCA data. The new SM3000 Motor Control Centre provides a 35 Percentage reduction in operating energy consumption compared with the current model (comparison with the PSC calculation model of the Japan Environmental Management Association for Industry). Applications: Type II environmental labels apply to all switchgear and controlgear from extra-high or high voltage to low voltage, and Type III environmental labels apply to the SM1200 and SM3000 motor control centres.
