PTFE HVCR cables from Garg Associates, Ghaziabad, are not Corona-free but are designed for 10,000 hour life under Corona (shielding will help to reduce corona effects on nearby circuits). The HVCR cables are recommended for ‘potentially’ high-risk applications. These cables offer assured reliability, long life at high temperature and voltages with significantly smaller diameters and weights. These CR cables are free from ageing, tracking and mechanical stress-cracking failures. These designs permit much higher CW and even higher peak/impulse power rating. Chemical inertness, non-flammability and thermal/physical/electro-mechanical properties from cryogenic to 260 degree C are some of the features of these cables. Technical specifications: Working voltages: Up to 22 KV AC or 50 KV DC within 7 mm 10,000 hours life under Corona Shielded construction for reduced RFI. Suitable temperature: 200 degree C to 260 degree C.
