Milling Attachment On Planer
Poona Udyog has developed technique to modify planer to plano miller. Single point tool is replaced by milling attachment. The flat belt drive is replaced by geared motor designed to suit specific planer. The spindle has standard ISI-40 taper and SKF bearings are used in the attachment. Belt tightening arrangement is also provided. The advantages are 40% less machining time; better surface finish; and more machine life and machining of hard material with ease.
