MIG/MAG Welding Machines

MIG/MAG Welding Machines

Nikit Engineers is one of the leading manufactures of MIG/MAG Welding Machines. In MIG/MAG welding the electrode is in form of lengthy wire (0.8 to 2 mm dia) wound in a spool, which normally contains 12 to 12.5 kg. This is fed continuously into the torch by a variable speed drive unit, which enables non-stop deposition if desired. The shielding of the arc zone is done by CO2 gas. This gas is used for welding mild steel and low alloy steel. For aluminium, brass, etc., argon gas is used. Specifications, Model NK 300: input voltage/phases – 415 V/3-phase; insulation class – F, voltage tappings – 32; open circuit voltage – 16-36 V; max input rating – 8 kVA; max welding current at 60% duty cycle – 300 A (at 100% duty cycle – 200 A; type of cooling – forced air cooled; dimension L x B x H (approx) – 635 x 415 x 515 mm; and weight – 100 kg. The company also manufactures other range of equipment for different applications, which includes welding transformers and rectifiers, TIG welding machines and special purpose machines.
