Microprocessor Based Tension Control System
PBJ Industrial Electronics offers microprocessor based tension control system. This comprises of load cells, magnetic powder brakes, clutches and tension controllers. Basic description: sensor – load cell (type 15, 20, 30, 40 kg); accuracy – better than ±1.0%; range – 15 to 40 kg; output for powder brake – 24 V PWM output @ 2 amps max; cooling – fan cooling provided for powder brake; control mode – proportional + integral control; power supply – linear power supply, input – 180 to 270 V AC; and memory – default settings are stored in a non-volatile memory. It has 10 years of data retention capability.
