Thakoor Electromechanical offers its Model MD-03-M for precision micro drilling operations. The heart of the machine is indigenously developed high frequency drilling spindle capable of 50,000 RPM spindle speed, most ideal for solid carbide drills with less than 1 mm diameter, and high speed. Its super precision bearings are life lubricated. Precision collets are used for holding drill bits of various sizes. The machine can be used from 0.1 mm to 3.175 mm (1/8") size drills. Its unique double column construction can make accurate repeated head stock movement with respect to the fixture. The extended throat of 270 mm provides easy passage of a variety of components. High frequency spindle unit is mounted on special antifriction slide mechanism for highly sensitive, finger-touch feeding mechanism. The electronic controller provided with the machine enables stepless spindle speeds from 5,000 to 50,000 RPM. A number of extra accessories such as fabricated stand, precision collets, automatic power feeding system, oil-mist lubrication, and precision anti-friction coordinate positioning tables, can be provided to increase the productivity.
