Mica Fab Export Private Limited offers Mica Scrap – a generic nomenclature for the lumps of mica having an area between 0.5 to 1.5 sq.in. This is essentially Green Muscovite and Ruby Muscovite mica scrap from the mines. These can be used to manufacture mica flakes and mica paper as well as mica bricks for heat insulation purposes. Green Muscovite and Ruby Muscovite mica scrap is processed from the mines. The scrap is freshly mined, free of impurities and screened to the size specified by the customers. Mica scrap is supplied to mica paper manufacturers all over the world. Specifications: applied to stranded wires, conductors and cables with strip winding machine; 50% longitudinally or radially with one or more layers; highly flexible and allows it to be used on thinnest conductor such as dia 0.8 mm; temperature withstand up to 1000°C for 3 hours; and supply voltage of up to 1000 V. Application: welding rod; lamp chimneys; as filler in rubber goods plants; wall-paper; and lubricants.
