METALLIC COATINGS
Plasmatron offer Metallic Coatings. It is manufactured as per international standards. It is used for improved wear and corrosion resistant overlays to increase the service life of machine components. PTA (plasma transferred arc) process provides overlays on virtually any base material. The resulting surface is permanently bonded to the substrate with very low dilution levels. Typical coatings for PTA process are nickel base coatings, cobalt base (stellite) coatings and tungsten carbide coatings. Hardness of the coatings can be achieved between 20-58 HRC. It finds applications in a wide range of industrial components like flow control valves, engine valves, valve seats, extruder screws, pistons, plungers, etc. The other products offered are Dee-Gun coatings.
