Industrial Metal Components, Jodhpur, offers high velocity arc metal spray gun (Model IMC-95) that uses electrical energy to melt pure and/or alloyed metal wires. Molten metal is atomised with the help of compressed air and gets deposited on rough and clean work surface by way of fine spray. During operation, an electric arc is maintained between two metal wires by DC rectifier. Due to the presence of compressed air, the object does not get heated while spraying. The main objective of arc gun is to coat the metal by cold process with super bonding. The operating and maintenance cost of this model is very less and the coating is dense, uniform and fast. Metal spraying is widely used for following applications: protection against water corrosion, heat oxidation, power capacitor manufacturing, rebuilding of worn-out roller, repairing of blow holes in casting, metal coating on wood, plastics, clays, etc.
