Time and Motion Engineers offer marking machine for components, used for marking or printing the manufacturers name, value, tolerance, code number, type, etc, on electronic components like transducers, crystal oscillators, connectors, transformers, relays, switches, wire wound resistors, metal oxide resistors, resistor networks, hybrid micro circuits, diodes, ICs, transistors, LED displays, capacitors, potentiometers, etc. The machine can also be used for marking automobile, electrical and hardware components. The substrate to be printed can be ceramic, durez, metal, plastic, etc, with any surface profile like flat or cylindrical. The impression can be transfeffed directly or indirectly on the component surface. This produces consistent and sharp prints, reduces operator's setting time for the block on the machine to a minute and requires practically no skill. In conventional machines the pad movement is angular which produces nonuniform print. The machine absorbs excess ink applied which is then released as the printing goes on. The ink film thickness is also maintained uniformly by a spreading roller. The machine can print maximum area of about 50 mm x 50 mm at the maximum production rate of 20 impressions per minute. The machine is portable table top driven by FHP motor at 230 V, 50 Hz, single phase supply.
