ifm datalink gmbh offers a Manufacturing Execution System, Linerecorder, to optimise and monitor all production processes from incoming goods inspection to dispatch with perfect data transparency. Modular function blocks for process monitoring and process control provide quality key indicators (OEE) and traceability for products and processes: Product and process traceability; Plant efficiency and performance; Order and process control; Material and tool management; Maintenance and knowledge management; and Alarm management. The new trend for energy-efficient manufacturing is called "green production". In synergy with ifm sensors this trend as well as condition monitoring topics and other functions to increase efficiency are optimally shown. New functions for process and energy consumption monitoring reflect current requirements. In the modern APP design process monitoring parameters such as: energy consumptions; vibration monitoring; and various measured values such as temperature, pressure, etc., are represented and processed. Alarms and escalation strategies for defined exceeded limit values are stored. The user can access the data online at any time, also with smartphones and/or tablet PCs, or is immediately informed. The Linerecorder system is distinguished by its intelligent interface concept for machine and ERP connections without programming during system integration. A high system availability is ensured thanks to the decentralised system architecture. Production does not depend on IT. Using ERP systems, data exchange is quick and reliable.
