BEDA Flow Systems is a joint venture with VSE Volumentechnik GmbH, a company of the German Echterhage Holding Fluid Technology Group. BEDA offers innovative and technically advanced customer specific system solutions for fluid control for the process industries. The product line offered by BEDA includes: high precision gear flow meters from VSE, Germany, permanent magnetic couplings and agitator drives from DST, Germany, external and internal gear pumps for dosing and metering from Beinlich, Germany, variable output radial and axial piston pumps from Rotary Power, UK. The company offers DST permanent magnetic couplings that provide leakage-free transmission for the process industries and are environmentally friendly. Hermetically sealed drives for pumps and agitators prevent any leakage of highly toxic or aggressive media. High torques can be transmitted wear-free through the vessel walls and are prevented from damage. A significant performance advantage of the DST magnetic coupling is the freedom from wear in contrast to dynamic seals. The standard construction range of permanent magnetic couplings is available with torque ratings from 1 Nm to 450 Nm. Customer specific applications on request. Applications include: chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, isocyanate and polyol pumps in polyurethane moulding, food industry, biotechnology, industrial ovens, metering and batching machines, hydraulics.
