An expanded line of machine mounts-designed to simplify machine installation, reduce noise, and isolate vibration-will be exhibited. The line includes two heavy-duty models designed specifically for impact-type -machinery. The machine mounts effectively isolate vibration two ways: by preventing a vibrating machine from transferring vibration to other machines and by insulating precision machinery from external sources of vibration. The machine mounts meet OSHA requirements by preventing the machines from "walking", without the need for bolting or cementing. All mounts incorporate a large, chloroprene rubber base which is resistant to oil, water and many chemicals. All metal parts are zinc plated for rust protection and long life. The heavy-duty support cup is machined from a solid bar resulting in increased thickness and longer life, says the builder. A retaining clip ensures that mounts will stay together when the machine is moved to a new location.
