innomatec Test and Special Equipments GmbH manufactures specialised machinery for leak checks, flow monitoring, and functionality tests for the media like water, air, helium and inert gas with great continuity and constantly growing success, since 1983. Customers make high demands on Test Benches. Besides standard measurements like leakage or flow, often other assembly operations are requested: screw in of components with additional identifying of the rotation-angle-torque or possible attached parts. The assembly and test benches have to fit in the installation process without any problem and conform to the operating regulations. This enables a long-term, high safety in operation. The computer-controlled tenfold round-cycle-test-bench for regulator valves is suitable for a variety of valves with interchangeable collets and sealing units. Substantial function, leakage and flow tests can be executed, also with continuous numbering. The measured data is archived by software and a number assigned to it. An integrated handling system removes the tested samples and sorts them automatically as ok or not ok. Besides testing, the logging, collection and protection of measured data and thus retraceability become more important. All such requirements are met. It is possible to archive the data with a continuous part number in the steering. The part number can be made permanently with various labelling systems, e.g., inkjet, engraving, coining or with a laser. Substantial standard solutions are available for PC or PLC steering. Furthermore an amortisation period under 2 years is important. Mostly the test benches are manufactured in a modular concept. Pluggable solutions and time saving quick connector systems guarantee an effective utilisation of the test bench. In the PLC controlled assembly and leak test bench for cylinder-head covers, the sample is loaded through the collet pieces with the bolts and the decoupling elements will be loaded and positioned in the sample. The overall leak tightness will be measured and labelled permanently with the manufacturing date.
