SPM (India) Ltd has launched a special purpose electronic Leak Test Cell, a revolution in automobile industry by proving with temperature compensation challenging gauge R&R <10%, CG > 1.33 and shortest cycle time of 52 secs. The highlight of this machine is two models of components are flowing in the same line: both cylinder head and block leak test cells are ready.

In cylinder block the Ok component is transferred automatically to the unloading conveyor and Not Ok component bypassed to rejection conveyor automatically. Modular type of design has been incorporated for all plugging assemblies to facilitate easy maintenance.
