Meguro India offers a new, high-grade LCR Meter, MIM-1220 Series, from Meguro Electronics Corporation, Japan. This provides characteristic evaluation of passive components under the same conditions as actual use conditions of the D.U.T. by continuous test frequency range which covers wide test frequency with 5 digits resolution. The advantage of this series is Multi-Step Mode, which enables user to define test conditions up to 30 steps, and save and recall a maximum of 64 programs on a built-in memory. This function allows user to perform a series of characteristic evaluation, which contains various measurement parameters easily. Comparator Function compares measurements of D.U.T. with specified upper limits and lower limits of primary parameter, and displays the High/Pass/Low result in Analog Scale Indicator. Either absolute measurement units or percentage limits are selectable. In addition, Analog Scale Indicator helps user to intuitively know adjustment status of variable component. Special software enables full remote control and collecting measurement data is attached as standard equipment. The MIM-1220 series can be widely used in not only production lines but also R&D purpose because of the abundant measurement/indication function and wide LCD display. This function graphs a parameter against frequency or AC drive level. Characterizing a parameter graphically helps user to understand how the passive component performs under different conditions.
