Sound Machinery Makers manufactures a range of Lathe Machines. This includes all geared lathe machines; extra heavy-duty roll turning lathes up to 40 ft, plano millers; and milling head and feed gearboxes of various sizes and capacities to convert the planer into plano-miller. The company has so far converted more than 1200 planers into plano-millers all over India and abroad. It also has the largest flame hardening project that is the first and by far the only plant in the north Indian region. This means, in effect, the company can supply the machines according to client requirements with flame hardened bed ways hardness above 350 B.H.N for life long accuracy of the machine. With experience of over three decades, the company has manufactured and supplied thousands of quality machines and equipment to renowned companies of India. Its facility is fully equipped with own resources of design, constantly looking at ways and means to bring further improvement in the products, designs and endeavours to make the same economical and qualitative by any means. Highlights: factory spread over more than 5 acres; all facilities under one roof; graded CI casting up to 25 grade FG 210 single piece casting up to 15 MT; machining capacity up to 15 mtr length; flame hardening project for hardening the guide-ways of the machines and first of its kind in the northern region; and all the mother machinery of reputed make and mostly imported.
