Ballbar analysis, laser alignment and laser calibration will improve the performance of machine tools, improve product quality, and bottom line. One can check positional accuracy, repeatability, and backlash over the length of the machine, which is not possible by dial indicator. Laser gives accurate measurement and can resolve accuracy problem faster. It identifies problems that can be attended to, before major breakdown.
