Speedfam (India) Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Speedfam, Japan, offers a Lapping and Polishing Machine for pad printing plate. This is specially developed considering key parameters required, as flatness and surface finish, on various sizes of the pad printing plates. The limited number of such plates in a batch is also considered while designing the machine. This specially designed machine is equipped with sweeper arm positioned to process even one plate at a time to a very high degree of flatness and surface finish. The specially graded lap plate with recyclable slurry and sweeper arm swivelling in tandem to achieve efficient cutting properties during the lapping process while attaining high degree of flatness. Lap plate can be conveniently swapped with the polish plate for polishing operation on the same machine. The maximum size this machine can accommodate is a typical plate size of 250 x 125 mm or any plate with maximum 280 mm diagonal. For diagonal larger than 280 mm, Speedfam can offer a solution of bigger machine. The plate conditioning can be done with conditioning blocks provided in order to achieve the desired plate flatness. The machine is greatly suitable for pad printing machine manufacturers and users who needs to manufacture/recondition the plates for better printing quality.
