The jaw couplings have simple construction and easy installation properties. They absorb shock loads and damps small amplitude vibrations. The couplings have spacer size depending upon the distance between two shaft ends. The inserts spider made of developed rubber compounds are used in jaw couplings to absorb shock loads, torsional vibrations and slight misalignments. They are available in a wide range of stock bore sizes.
