Isolation Transformers

Isolation Transformers provide electrostatic shielding, attenuate common mode noises and minimise transverse mode noises. They are specially designed for sensitive equipment and prevent such disturbances generated by noisy equipment, and loads from being injected into the power line. The multiple shielding technique employed in isolation transformers reduces the inter-winding capacitance to a level below 0.005 Pico farad and increases DC isolation to over 1000 M ohms. Three single phase isolation transformers may be connected in star configuration to get three phase isolation transformers. Isolation transformers can also be used for voltage conversions of 230 to 230 Volts, 110 to 115 Volts, 230 to 115 Volts or 115 to 230 Volts AC. This winding device isolates the magnetic distortion from supply. In isolation transformers the rating (voltage and current) of both primary and secondary are the same. There are two types of basic raw materials used in this transformer.
