Kusam Electrical Industries Ltd has launched "Kusam-Meco" IRthermo-Anemometer with built-in infrared thermometer and hot air anemometer with USB interface. The IRthermo-Anemometer, Model KM 732 is a versatile hot air anemometer with built in non-contact infrared thermometer. The IRthermo-Anemometer displays the air velocity, airflow (volume), temperature of air, and non-contact infrared temperature. This instrument is useful for HVAC measurements, for measuring the airflow of air-conditioning systems, blowers, pipelines, ventilation systems, environmental testing, various manufacturing processes for semiconductors, etc. The special features of the instrument are that it displays simultaneously the airflow in CFM/CMM or air velocity plus ambient temperature. It has a very fast response time. It measures the air velocity in various units, viz., m/s, km/h, ft/min, knots, and mile/h. The infrared thermometer measures remote temperature up to 500°C with DS, 8:1 and laser pointer. It has super large LCD display to read 2 parameters at a time. It has 20,000-point data logging function with real time clock. Other functions include data hold, record/recall maximum, and minimum average reading. It has auto power off function, an USB PC interface and is supplied with software disc. It has CE certification and meets EN61326, IEC61000-4-2, IEC 61000-4-3, IEC 61000-4-8, and IEC 60825-1 specifications. It is light weight (320 gm) and handy to be carried anywhere. It uses a 9 V battery.
