Intrinsically Safe Circuit Proximity Switches are suitable for use in hazardous areas. These switches are certified by competent authorities for use in flammable area group classification I, IIA, IIB, IIC. Suitable intrinsically safe isolating amplifier is also offered which receives signal from switches and drives a relay or produce solid-state output. These switches are exclusively used for sensing Position, Speed, Direction, and Level. Switches for use in hazardous locations are also available. Proximity switches can replace limit switches due to its many advantages like:
