This process is not only difficult but also makes process time consuming, Thanks to Internal Pressure Gauge, now there is no need of hole drilling into large caliber barrels. Internal Pressure Gage System (B251) IPG is rugged, accurate, self contained and autonomous which is used for different ranges and applications. It is used for autonomous recording of high pressure curves as they occur during firing of large caliber size guns and mortars directly inside the cartridge case or propellant chamber. There are different types of IPG’s for small and large caliber.
