Insulator Fault Detection is also known as PID viz, Punctured Insulator Detection. Ramelex use sophisticated Insulator Fault Detectors to determine the leakage in the defective insulator by electric field measurement method. This equipment is attached to a hot stick & it is moved across in the insulator string by the PID experts. Electrical field surrounding the insulators is recorded in digital format and downloaded to a computer. The graph is analysed by the team of the qualified engineers who are experienced in reading and understanding these graphs. The accuracy of the analysis is always 100%.
