Varun Industries, a unit of Pecopp Pest Control Services offers Insectocutors. These are electrically operated fly control equipment, which has a black light fluorescent tube and an electrified grid. These are housed in a sleek box with a protective grill and a tray at the bottom. It therefore looks more attractive and is also more durable compared to conventional spray painted models. The light emitted by fluorescent tubes attracts flying insects. The insects are electrocuted and killed while passing through the electrified grid. The dead insects get collected in the tray. The tray can be taken out and cleaned as and when needed. Insectocutors are available in 5 models: Dual Tube Ceiling Model, Dual Tube Wall Model, Single Tube Portable Model, Single Tube Wall Model and Noiseless Insectocutors with Glue Pads.
