Arya Transformers offers dry type transformers and inductors for traction applications such as 180 kVA converter, auxiliary converter, under slung, etc. Products offered for traction applications have features such as H Class insulation, weather proof, high reliability, high impact resistance, vibration and shock proof, suitable for vide temperature variation, critical dimension to save space, vacuum varnished and oven baking. Representative ratings are type tested at ERDA, Vadodara and IIT Chennai for vibration and shock test. Amorphous metal core choke and transformers with Litz wire/foil are successfully designed manufactured and supplied for high frequency applications to reduce the dimension. High current water cooled transformers, and 12- and 24-pulse transformers for rectifier applications are regularly supplied. These products are used in research labs such as IPR, CAT and RMP.
