Immersion Heaters, Flanged (Flameproof Option)

Flanged immersion heaters are designed for use in tanks and pressurised vessels. These heaters are ideal for supporting high tank pressures of super heated steam, compressed gas or liquids. They are easy to install and maintain, just by bolting to a matching flange welded to the tank wall or nozzle. The direct immersion heating method is energy efficient and easily monitored and controlled. A flanged immersion heater consists of 'U' shaped tubular heating elements welded or brazed into a flange and provided with terminal boxes for electrical enclosures and sheath materials make these heaters ideal for all types of heating applications. This is one of the most widely used methods for heating gases and liquids. These heaters can also be supplied with flameproof terminal enclosures suitable for hazardous area application for Gas Group IIA, IIB and IIC with CMRI/CCoE/BIS/ DGFASLI approvals. These heaters are available in flange sizes up to 1000 mm and wattage up to 650 kW in variety of sheath materials for widest range of applications.
