Hydrocyclone Coolant Filter
Spark Tools offers hydrocyclone coolant filter used for removing ferrous and non-ferrous dust particles from water mixed emulsions and other low viscous coolants. It is a centrifugal separator. The contaminated coolant from the tank is pumped into hydrocyclone cone and due to centrifugal force generated by special design the dust particles are pressed on to the walls of the cone which are then discharged through the nozzle at bottom. Advantages of this filter are, it supplies clean coolant as soon as pump is switched on. It is maintenance free as there are no moving parts. There is no consumable cost such as cost of filter paper as in paper band filters. It is compact and occupies minimum space. Hydrocyclone filters are suitable for grinding machines, machining centres and part washing machines.
