Hydraulic Coil Loading Car
Hydraulic coil loading cart has been developed for safer coil loading facility for decoiler of CNC cropping line. Loading of coil by coil car eliminates the conventional, unsafe and clumsy loading of coil by using the jib crane and slings on the mandrel of the cropping line. Because of the sling and coil weight, the coil used to get elongated. Removal of slings is difficult and sometime damages the materials. A coil loading car of 5 tonne carrying capacity has been developed having hydraulic travel on 4 wheels on rail and a hydraulic vertically moving "V" shaped platform. The coil car moves horizontally to the cropping line loading station. The V block is supported on a vertical hydraulic cylinder and is guided by means of the four guide rods. The power pack is also mounted on the coil car itself. The whole arrangement is overboard. The horizontal motion is given by hydraulic motor and a gear train. The car with the coil loaded at coil stockyard travels on pressing of push button near to the mandrel of the machine (cropping line). The coil is lifted vertically by pressing of push button and aligned with the mandrel. The car is moved further towards the machine till the mandrel fully enters in the I/D of the coil. After holding of the coil by expanding the mandrel the platform is brought down and the car is moved back to its initial location.
