Holistic Energy Equipments has achieved a breakthrough in hot water generation. Use of non-conventional energy sources such as sun and wind is increasing in India due to shortage and ever increasing prices of conventional energy sources such as gas, coal and electricity. There is one more source of energy, which is untapped and available in abundance in the atmosphere, i.e., latent heat in ambient air. The company is a pioneer in the field of manufacturing Airtech Water Heaters (ATWH) in India exploiting this source. This process of hot water generation uses natural and clean atmospheric air energy without CO2 emission. Hence in this process hot water generation is very economical, pollution free as well as environmental friendly. The ATWH generates hot water using ambient air as fuel, saving up to 80% of electrical cost compared to conventional electric greaser. Here one point is to be noted that electricity is used only to operate the system, where as latent heat is used for water heating. ATWH can work for 24 hours a day, and can operate at night and in cold hilly rejoins, in rainy, in foggy or cloudy weather and with higher efficiency in high humidity areas like Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata. ATWH is a viable alternative to solar water heaters as the system is very compact in size enabling easy installation with ease in operations. The maintenance of the system is low. This new system comes as a boon to the industries using hot water in the manufacturing process, e.g., pharmaceuticals and chemical industries, food and beverages, textiles, hotels, hospitals, etc. Residential complexes also could use ATWH as the most economical means for hot water requirement. The ability to reduce the dependence on fossil fuels makes the payback period of these units very attractive, i.e., 6 to 12 months depending on the input fuel and capacity. The firm is launching ATWH soon and is soliciting inquiries from end users and distributors.
