Hyden Plastics offers a Hot Melt Coater. This is a sheet to sheet hot melt coater. This can apply any type of hot melt adhesive, including pressure sensitive hot melts and adhesives with long open time. The coating roller applies a thin layer of hot melt to the part as it passes over the coating roller. However the layer being too thin cools down very quickly, and the part can be handled immediately as it exits the coater. The speed of the roller is controlled and variable. It is used for various applications in industries including shoe manufacturing, leather goods assembly, foam fabrication, packaging, product labelling, automotive interior parts, plastics, paper board, corrugated boxes, filters, jewellery boxes, etc.
