High Alumina (KER-710) Tubes
Navin Corporation offers a wide range of imported recrystallised high alumina, Alsint 99.7 (KER-710) tubes and multi hole insulators. These are impervious, and possess very good thermal shock resistance, high thermal conductivity, high mechanical strength and electrical resistivity. These materials have 99.70% alumina and hence very low MgO and SiO2 contents. This is a very important criterion, as it minimises contamination of evaporated SiO2 on Pt/Rh wire when used as thermocouple protection tube and increases life of the thermocouple. Most suitable for high temperature thermocouples in glass, steel, cement and other process industries, these tubes are chemically inert and hence recommended for high temperature chemical attack, e.g., hydrogen and other reducing gases. Crucibles and other ceramic ware of the same material are also available.
