Agnee Transmissions offers `R-series’ Helical Geared Motors in double/triple reduction models having motorised/solid inputs, to satisfy all the requirements of a reliable drive for slow speed high-torque application. Standard range of Agnee helical geared motors, available in foot-mounted and flange-mounted versions, offer un-parallel performance covering output speed graduated from 9 to 1230 RPM with motor power ratings ranging from 0.18 kW to 10 kW. The gearbox and motor built as a single unit looks stylishly compact which ultimately results smooth and silent operation in an efficient fashion. The solid input version incorporates an input solid shaft mounted on a bearing housing having dual bearings of ample capacity. Features: gears and pinions are of helical type manufactured from high quality alloy case hardening steel; single-piece, high-quality, close-grained cast iron casing accommodates the bearings and the gear trains; input pinion of geared motor is shrink fitted within a sleeve which is, in turn, keyed to the motor shaft; output shaft is manufactured from direct hardening alloy steel capable of transmitting high torque; deep groove ball bearings and taper roller bearings are used, of ample capacity to support combined radial and thrust load; shaft extensions are fitted with spring-loaded rubber seals to prevent outflow of oil; high quality GR-seals are provided for effective sealing; lubrication of gears and bearings is entirely self-contained by automatic splash which provides sufficient and positive flow of oil resulting minimum wear and noise; cooling is by normal heat dissipation through convection/radiation from externally exposed surface; and the units may be operated in either direction of rotation as required. Electricals: standard electric motor provided with Agnee geared motor is TEFC, squirrel cage induction motor suitable for operation on 415 V, (±10%), 3-phase, 50 Hz, (± 5%), AC supply with IP55 enclosure and class `F’ insulation (utilised to class B limits). Units with electric motor of special design, e.g., flame-proof construction, crane duty motor, extended shaft motor can be supplied.
