The 2D digital height master gauge from Microtechnika Metrology comes with several unique features. These include: colour graphical LCD display 5.7” diagonal size; animated user friendly GUI; high accuracy optical scale measuring system; motorised measuring carriage; storage of 5 different probe constants; integrated rechargeable battery backup provided for long operation time; 3 point air cushion; part tolerancing, RS232 data output; online drawing plotting on display; 2D drawing export to AutoCad; and auxiliary encoder input/serial port input for interfacing digital dial. 1D measurement functions: contacting a surface from above, contacting a surface from below, checking groove horizontally (centre and width), assessing a bore/shaft (centre and diameter), and contacting a bore/shaft above, contacting a bore/shaft from below. 2D functions: measurement of point/line/circle/distance/angle using measured features; construction of point/line/circle/distance/angle using 2D functions; determining centre point and diameter of index circle (PCD); determining angle between 2 elements; determining angle between 3 elements; determining of angle of a Taper’s mean line with respect to the Abscissa; determining the tilting angle; distance between two elements; measuring perpendicularity and straightness; and automatic and manual measurement of perpendicularity and straightness.
