Poona Udyog has installed a heavy-duty lathe where flanges up to 2180 mm dia and 280 mm thickness can be machined in the gap bed of the lathe. Jobs up to 6 m long can be accommodated on lathe. The setup at the company includes 7 plano miller, horizontal boring machines, 6 milling machines, 7 lathes, redial drill and MITR milling with DRO. General engineering jobs can also be machined here.
