A modern facility to provide the best service in heat treatment is available at Wavecurrent Automotives. It is characterised by scientific treatment, technical superiority and absolute quality, for ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The plant for ferrous materials consists of: pit type controlled atmosphere, pit type gas carburising furnace, tilting barrel shaped (0-8 RPM) furnace, vertical forced air circulation furnace, ideal oil/water quench tanks, motorised overhead mono-rail hoist, gas nitriding furnace, cryogenic treatment (sub zero) chamber, and induction hardening equipment. For non-ferrous materials, the plant has: forced air circulating furnace, water quench tank, electrical oven with automatic on/off controls, monorail hoist with slow and fast quenching speeds. The facility is equipped with 200 kVA high tension power supply, backed by two generator sets of 125 kVA capacity.
