Tristar make ILV-OBE vertical heater is an addition to the proven design of cartridge type of heaters. Both the heaters are specially designed and constructed for optimum performance ensuring long operating life, due to the low watt density on the casing pipe, parallel coil design and even distribution of elements provided for each heaters. These are available in horizontal and vertical types, capacities ranging from 3 kW to 180 kW respectively. The main heater vessel, body flanges, tube sheet and body cover are generally made out of IS-2062 standard plates. The element casing pipes are made out of specially drawn seamless tubes conforming to A-106 Grade B standards. Special method of tube sheet assembly is adopted, wherein the casing pipes are double grooved and expanded in the tube sheet to achieve absolute leak proofness. Insulation is done with light resin bonded mineral slabs duly cladded with steel sheeting to minimise heat losses and also impart aesthetic look to the heater. An oil pocket provided at the outlet nozzle (from inside the heater vessel) ensures outletting of highest temperature of oil from the heater. The "formed"sturdy mounting brackets facilitate easy mounting of heater, horizontal or vertical wise. Specially made cast aluminium weather proof terminal box ensures easy termination of power supply cables.
