A Deep Well hand pump is a very simple device consisting of head assembly, handle assembly water tank, stand and cylinder assembly with galvanised iron pipes and mild steel, electro-galvanised connecting rods. The raw materials, viz., gun metal, cast iron, mild steel, stainless steel and rubber components, etc., for hand pumps are easily available indigenously and therefore there is no need for import of raw material for hand pump.
