The force and lift hand pump can be easily modified as a bore well power pump with out major changes. A suitable submersible pump is installed bellow the hand pump cylinder on the same riser pipes and the out let of the OHT is connected to a stand post. When the electric supply is not available the force and lift pump can be operated as normal thus ensuring continual water supply even in absence of the electric supply. Main features: water out put @ 1500 LPH; single phase electric motor; can be adjusted to provide constant discharge rate; suitable for installation on 100 mm to 150 mm diameter bore wells; maximum installation depth 80 m; and can be used to lift water to an OHT. Applications: drinking water supply of small community; water supply at the community centres (PHC); public sanitation facilities; watering of flower/vegetable beds; and pre-supply water filtration.
