Fume Exraction System
The mobile mechanical fume extractors are designed for aspiration and filtration of fumes generated during all the most welding processes like SMAW – shielded metal arc welding with low hydrogen/rutile electrodes, TIG – tungsten inert gas welding, GMAW – gas metal arc welding with CO2, welding, etc. The functioning of the fumes is assured by an internal fan of 1.5 HP. The welding fumes are sucked from the welding work areas, through an articulated tubular 200 mm diameter arm, approximately 3 mtr long. The fumes pass through the sets of filters and after being purified, they are expelled through lateral grids. Each set of filter is composed of: stainless steel pre-filter; special non woven fabric filter; and active carbon cartridge (approximately 8 kg each).
