Formaldehyde Plant

Formaldehyde Plant

Aldehydes are the pioneers in the designing and setting up of captive Formaldehyde Plants in India. They use an indigenously devised technology, which have cultivated over one and a half decades of the operations. It is instrumental in cost effective production of formaldehyde in India.

  • The setting up of the plant requires minimum preliminary investment and low on running costs.
  • The plants are capable of giving high yields of Methanol to Formaldehyde, i.e. 445 Kgs. of Methanol to 1000 Kgs. Formaldehyde with 1.0 % free Methanol in the product.
  • Low power consumption only 30 KW per ton of Formaldehyde produced.
  • Imported steam is required only for start up of plant and shutdown within 6 hours thus cutting down on future operating costs and reduce the overall cost.
  • Acidity content in the final products is low, less than 0.01%.
