Tests carried out: (a) Non-destructive – chemical analysis, tensile, impact & izod, hardness (vol & induction), die penetrant, ultrasonic, magnetic crack detection, X-ray and hydraulic pressure; and (b) Destructive – mettalography (micro, macro). Inspections: the company’s own, customers, SAIL, defence, Mecon, RITES, IRS, LRS, and Bureau Veritas Inspection, India.
