The product range includes: automobile components – rocker arms, connecting rods, tie rod ends yokes, spiders, clutch hubs, clutch release levers, clevis, clutch plates, pressure plates, etc; general engineering – gear blanks, wheel dressers, insulator pins, insulator hooks, tool holders, chain links and similar products; hydraulic forgings – valve bodies, rod eye ends, elbows, ports, etc; mining tools – coal augurs, rotary drill bits, mining picks, bit holders, pick holders, etc; and agricultural implements – rotary tines (wet and dry), rotovator shovels, cultivator blades, etc. Smiths & Founders (India) Limited is engaged in manufacturing a wide range of castings and forgings required in various industries like automobile, general engineering, mining, agriculture and the like. The manufacturing units have a long-standing experience of over 30 years, in engineering small, precision and intricate steel forgings, and centrifugally cast cylinder liners for our domestic and international customers. The company has developed more than 1000 models of cylinder liners, and close to 500 types of both carbon and alloy steel forgings for Indian and overseas markets alike. The forging unit of the company has gained ISO 9001: 2000 certifications.
