The company is adding forgings to its products’ basket under its philosophy of ‘1 stop solution’ provider for its customers as most of them also need metallurgically sound and reliable forgings. Its forging capacity will also fulfil the in-house consumption of forged products for its forged B/W pipe fittings and flanges. The new forging unit is equipped with multiple numbers of hammers and power presses of different ratings, and supplemented with material handling, heat treatment and supporting machining and quality checking or testing facilities to address the needs of customers in different industrial sectors. The key industry sectors addressed are oil and gas, steel, power, cement, sugar, wind energy, marine, railways, etc. The major products manufactured will be forgings for pipe fittings and flanges, forged rings, blinds, shafts, rolls, gears, couplings, blanks, blocks, squares, crank shafts and all types of heavy free forgings. The products will be serviced in both ‘as forged’ and rough or semi-machined conditions.
