Foil winding machine series FWM is a specially designed semi-automatic foil winding machine for aluminium or copper conductor foil with TIG or cold press welding unit catering to coil width from 150 to 1600 mm. The machine has exclusive features like individual stepless braking system which provides a precise conductor foil tension independent from the shape of the coil. The control system is based on the most modern microprocess CNC system. All information for operation and maintenance of the machine is displayed in plain text. The operation of the machine is done by selecting prepared parameter sets or just entering some parameters into interactive input screens. The cold press welding system fully integrated in the winding process for the strip leads results in welding of constant high quality and totally free from splatter. It offers the possibility to use different materials for foil and lead, which gives the user a maximum flexibility. B+R Foil winding machines are known worldwide for their quality and performance. All the guide rollers are protected with hard chrome plating . The area of the insulation material is protected and a cleaning system removes the dust on the conductor foil.
