Nagman Instruments & Electronics Pvt Ltd has recently introduced a novel and innovative Flow Calibration System, Model ‘Flocal’. This system is a custom built up to DN 300. Most types of flow meters can be calibrated using this Flocal system. Flow rate can be adjusted (manual/semi-automatic/automatic) throughout the range. Media of calibration: water (correction factor can be derived for other liquids through software). System features include: test bed (to mount multiple units of same size); manual/semi–automatic (electrical/pneumatic actuator) clamping facilities, spacers, etc., integrated with pumps, water reservoir, flow throttle, electronic control console, cascaded/stand-alone multiple calibration standards (masters), recirculation facility (filtration – offline – optional); and available in various accuracy levels from 0.2% to 0.05% (or better). This system is having the option to calibrate meters with accuracies down to (and beyond) 2% and up to 0.1%. It employs electromagnetic flow meter as calibration standard (master); and precision weighing platform scale (gravimetric).
